Marinated pork belly with a side of green beans on a bed of warm shirataki rice! Cook up this delicious dish in half an hour, just in time for lunch or dinner!
Marinated pork belly with a side of green beans on a bed of warm shirataki rice. Cook up this delicious dish in half an hour, just in time for lunch or dinner!
Green bean - stems removed
Pork belly (marinated in my simple marinade: 2 TBS fish sauce, 3 TBS sweetener, 2 minced garlic cloves, a little black pepper, a little oil, and a little Arome Maggi sauce (extra umami but not needed), a pinch of white pepper (optional)
5 cloves of garlic minced
1 tbs grated ginger
Avocado oil (or oil of choice)
Shaoxing wine (splash)
Dash of sesame oil
Chili onion crunch (about 1 tbps)
A couple of spritz of Arome Maggi sauce
AMAZING LOKARB Shirataki Rice
In a pan over medium-high heat, add some oil and cook the green beans for like 2 minutes (nice green color still - not wilted) then set aside.
In that same pan, cook the pork belly all the way through and set aside.
Add a little oil over medium heat and add in the garlic, ginger, and chilli oil and cook that for like 1 minute.
Toss in the green beans and add some shaoxing wine, sesame oil, and a couple of spritz of the Arome Maggi sauce.
Add in your pork belly and toss for another minute. Serve on top of shirataki rice microwaved for 1 minute.
